□ Mass of Assumption of Mary, 10AM

On 15th,Holy Father will carry out “the Mass of Assumption of Mary” in DaeJeon World Cup Stadium at 10am. It is the first Mass which the Holy Father offers with the public since his pastoral visit to Korea. The admission of laypeople will be completed until 8am, and singer InSooni and Jo Su-Mi will perform at 9am. Around 9:45 am Holy Father will arrive at the stadium, received by H.E. Msgr. Lazzaro You Heung Sik and Kwon Seon-Taek, the Mayor of DaeJeon City. The Holy Father will then go around the stadium as a part of a car-parade and meet 50,000 laypeople who will attend the Mass. The survivors from Sewol ferry and the families of the victims will be invited to the Mass (approx. 30persons). Holy Father will meet the families of the victims(approx. 10 persons) in front of the changing room of sacristy right before the Mass to express his consolation.The ten, including the families and the representatives of the students, were recommended by the Suwon Diocese, where Ansan Danwon High School is located. Among them are three non-Catholics, Lee Ho-Jin(aged 56, father of Lee Seung Hyeon, a victim from Sewol Ferry), who carried the cross during the recent walking pilgrimage for Sewol victims, and Kim Hak-Il(aged 52, father of Kim Eung-Ki, a victim from Sewol Ferry).

□ Luncheon with Asian Youths, 1PM
At 1:30 PM, Holy Father will attend a luncheon with Asian Youths, who are 20 youth representatives of 17 Asian countries (India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thai, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippine, East of Timor, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia). Singer BoA, the Honorary Ambassador of AYD, will also attend the luncheon.

□ Meeting with Asian Youths, 4:30PM
At 4:30 PM Holy Father will arrive at the Shrine of Solmoe. Holy Father will be received by Ahn Hee-Jeong, the governor of Choong-Cheong Nam-Do, and Kim Hong-Jang, the Mayor of DangJin City. Then will move to the birthplace of St. Andrew Kim Tae-Gon. There will be a floral tribute and a prayer. At 5:30PM the meeting with the Asian youths will begin.After a starting prayer, H.E.Msgr.Lazzaro You Heung Sikwill start with the welcoming speech. On this day, among the participants of AYD, those from Hong Kong, Cambodia and Korea will ask questions about their vocations, missionaries, values to the Holy Father as the representative of all the young people. Holy Father will answer to their questions and the conversation will be done in English. A speech by Holy Father will be followed. It will be in English as well.

□ [Notice on Briefing] Joint Interview - Holy Father and Asian Youth
Five attendees at the luncheon and three presenters at the meeting will do a joint interview at the Briefing Room inside the Shrine of Solmoe, at 7:30 PM. 
※Fr. Federico Lombardi, the spokesperson of the Vatican Palace, will give a briefing at Main Press Center, 9:30AM, Lotte Hotel, Seoul.

□ [Notice from Committee for Papal Visit to Korea] Beatification Mass
The registration of Catholic laypeople for the entrance to the “Beatification of 124 Korean Martyrs,” which will be held on 16th, has been completed beforehand. The admission to the Mass will be allowed only to those who had registered, and the attendants will go through the identification process for admission. We ask for the participants’ cooperation to those in charge of security since more than 170,000 people are expected to attend. We once again ask for the understanding of the citizens for any inconvenience that may be caused by the Beatification Mass.
